Going for the HR Licence
With all the opportunities a HR Licence can offer to you it can make sense as to why you’re choosing to pursue attaining a HR Licence. For example if you’re aim is to operate heavier vehicles with higher Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), then you could be looking to go for your truck licence course. At Kool Driving School we know what is needed to successfully attain your HR Licence. When electing to choose Kool Driving School we cover fifteen items of criteria for the HR Truck licence and you gain one-on-one training which is comprehensive on theoretical and practical components.
If you’re concerned in the space of defensive driving techniques we have you covered and will teach you the optimum way for defensive driving over aggressive driver behaviour. You will complete the final competency test with us as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in New South Wales. We are compliant with the Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) regulations and requirements and you can be confident in our accredited courses. Some requirements for attaining the HR Truck Licence such as holding a full C Class driver’s licence or a P-Plater P2 licence for twelve months or more are required.
Additionally, the standard requirements of a Licence Application Form, acceptable proof of identity and the required fee need to be met along with passing an eyesight test, passing the HR knowledge test and providing a medical report if applicable. You will then be issued with a Heavy Vehicle HVCBA Learner’s Log Book and a copy of the Guide to Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment and away you go to practice your HR vehicle driving with your instructor.
